Welcome to Holistic Health Tracker (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We collect and process various types of data to provide and improve our services. When you create an account, we collect the following personal information (name, email address, age).  The App also allows you to track health-related data, including food, supplements, moods and sleep that you manually enter. If you choose to integrate Apple HealthKit, we access and process health-related data solely to provide health insights within the App. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising purposes, nor do we share it with third parties for marketing or data monetization. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through your iOS settings. 

To enhance app performance and user experience, we may collect device-related information such as your device model, operating system version, and anonymized IP address. Additionally, we track app usage patterns, such as features accessed and session duration. Some data may also be collected from third-party services like analytics tools, but only with your explicit consent.

We use the collected data to provide personalized health tracking and insights, improve app functionality, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations when required. Your personal data is never sold. However, we may share it in limited cases, such as with trusted third-party service providers who assist with app operations (e.g., cloud storage and analytics). In rare instances, we may disclose data if required by law, such as in response to court orders. HealthKit data is never shared with third parties.

We implement reasonable security measures to safeguard your data, including encryption for sensitive information and access controls to prevent unauthorized access. Despite these efforts, no system is completely secure. By using the App, you acknowledge that data transmission and storage involve inherent risks.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App’s services. If you wish to delete your data, you may contact us at https://holistichealthtracking.com/contact. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days. You can also delete HealthKit data directly from the Health app on iOS.

The App integrates with Firebase, and Google Analytics. These services operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third-party services they choose to interact with through the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices or legal requirements. Continued use of the App after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If significant changes occur, we will notify users through the App or via email.

The App is intended for general wellness purposes only and does not provide medical advice. Users should consult a healthcare professional for any medical concerns. We are not liable for inaccuracies in user-inputted data, indirect or incidental damages resulting from the use of the App, or unauthorized access to data despite security measures in place.
